Tower Equine Fertility Services

As more and more owners breed from their own mares, so Artificial Insemination (AI) is becoming ever more popular. The great advantage of AI is that you can choose a stallion from anywhere in the UK or Europe, without your mare having to travel more than a few miles.  At Gibson & Lee we have a proven track record of successful AI with over 80% pregnancy rates in 2007. We have now set up Tower Equine Fertility Services, using new facilities at Tower Farm and at local Brackenspa Stud, to provide the complete, cost effective AI service. For more information or to discuss your AI requirements please contact Alex Mundy on 01778 591082.

Tower Equine Office Hours

In order to improve our service to clients the new office at Tower Farm, Grimsthorpe will be open five mornings a week from 9am until 12.  Alex is taking a break from legal practice to help deal with the rapidly increasing volume of calls, and she will be booking stud calls for Roger and dealing with general enquiries on the Tower Farm office number of 01778 591082. Please try to ring between nine and ten in the morning if you would like a visit that day – this will help us to plan calls during the busy stud season. Clare Daly will continue to run the Southey Lodge office, taking calls and accounts queries on the usual telephone number of 01780 749015.

Somerby Equestrian Centre

Somerby Equestrian Centre have almost completed their impressive new indoor school and stabling complex. The new facility includes a purpose built veterinary treatment area. This allows Gibson & Lee to maintain a full and very cost effective service to clients in the area.

Brackenspa Open Day

Brackenspa Stud will be holding an open day on 22 March 2008. Brackenspa’s stallions and youngstock will be on show and visitors will be able to view the new AI facilities. Roger will be available to answer any breeding queries. For further details call Sally Lister on 01778 570123.

Leics County Show/ BEF Futurity Young Horse Evaluations

Tower Equine Fertility Services will be sponsoring the Inhand Sport Horse classes and championship at Leicestershire County Show on 5 May 2008. A similar voucher will be presented to the breeder of the highest scoring foal across all three disciplines at the BEF Futurity Young Horse Evaluations at Arena UK on 14 August 2008.
